Updated: May 11, 2024

Hey there! Since you're here, I thought I would tell you a little about myself!

I am a Master Trainer and Nutrition Specialist with 8 years experience certified under International Sports Sciences Association. I am EMR certified and completed schooling for Esthetics for a better understanding of how to work with the elasticity of the skin for extreme weight loss and hypertrophy transformations. I specialize in Corrective Exercise and am an expert with the lumbo pelvic hip complex (lower extremities), and stress management. I have experience (and live with) the spectrum of a hyper-mobility connective tissue disorder. Ten years ago I achieved my own weight loss of 100 lbs sparking my desire to help others achieve the same ability to take back control of their life!

I battle with depression & anxiety and have utilized EMDR to heal my PTSD. Exercise and balanced eating is the only real prescription that has ever helped me consistently. Building Core Consulting🌱 from the ground up is what has given me purpose and drive to wake up every morning and it is what we will do with your body and your mind. Transformation and healing comes from within and by connecting the mind, body and spirit. We will identify the root issues in order to ease the symptoms. We will work from the root chakra to move the energy up and out and we work from the feet up to identify where in the kinetic chain there are needs to address.

Over the years I’ve worked with many, each with their own set of needs, goals, and obstacles to overcome. I’ve worked with many cancer and eating disorder survivors and those battling chron’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and those with pacemakers. I recognize trauma comes in many forms and there are many physical symptoms that come with that most commonly chronic pain. I care about the recovery as much as the exercise. I enjoy teaching my clients WHY they are doing what they are doing & WHAT it will do for them rather than just taking someone through a workout without an understanding of the benefits.

Through learning of my hyper mobility condition later in life after a very active and intense lifestyle, I attained a torn labrum with such flimsy tissue that I had a year of rehab and then a major reconstruction surgery of the labrum with an organ donor’s tissue wrapped around what was left of mine, I also had an impingement in my hip ball and joint socket which they shaved so it would stabilize easier. I'm completing rehab 3x a week healing and fighting for my freedom to move and exercise the way I enjoyed again. During this time I have learned SO much about this disorder and gained a lot of knowledge and experience in corrective exercise and the importance of stability training for ankles, knees, wrists, hips and shoulders. You may be strong, but are you stable?

I look SO forward to getting to know you more and welcoming you to the Core Community. Cheers to healing and new beginnings!
