A Little More About Me
Hi! Iām genuinely happy youāre here!
If you made it to this page, you may be wondering if we'd be the right match and you probably want to understand the woman behind the method. Not just the certifications. Not just the programming. But the philosophy. The experience. The why.
So here it is.
Iām a transformation coach, corrective exercise specialist, stress management educator, and movement strategist with over a decade of experience in the health and performance space.
My background spans master-level personal training, nutrition science, corrective exercise, health coaching, emergency medical response, and esthetics training ā giving me a rare lens into not just how bodies move, but how they heal, adapt, and transform.
I specialize in the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex and lower extremities, nervous system-aware programming, and building strength that is rooted in stability ā not ego.
But the truth is, my education didnāt just come from textbooks or certifications.
It came from lived experience.
I Didnāt Learn This From a Textbook ā I Lived It
Over a decade ago, I lost 100 pounds myself. That experience changed everything. Not just physically ā mentally, emotionally, spiritually. It taught me what it actually takes to reclaim your body, your confidence, and your sense of control when life feels heavy.
I also live with a hypermobility connective tissue disorder, something I didnāt even discover until later in life ā after years of pushing my body hard, training intensely, and āpowering throughā discomfort.
That delayed diagnosis led to a torn labrum, a year of rehab, and eventually a major reconstructive hip surgery using donor tissue, plus correction of a hip impingement. The rehab process taught me patience, humility, gratitude for basic movement ability and a whole new level of respect for stability over intensity.
So when I ask clients, āYou may be strong ā but are you stable?ā I mean it.
The Mind, the Body, and the Nervous System Matter ā All of Them
Like many people, Iāve navigated seasons that challenged my mental and emotional health. Through intentional healing work, including EMDR, Iāve come to understand how deeply connected the nervous system is to our physical habits. Exercise and nourishment became less about changing my body ā and more about caring for it.
Core Consulting wasnāt built from competition or perfection. It was built from progress and practice. From learning routines that support you on good days and carry you through flares, low energy, grief, or stress.
Transformation doesnāt happen from forcing symptoms away. It happens when we address the root cause.
Thatās why my work connects the mind, body, and spirit ā from the feet up, through the kinetic chain, and yes, even through energetic awareness. We look at where things are stuck, overworking, compensating, or holding stress ā physically and emotionally.
Experience With Complex Bodies ā And Real Humans
Over the years, Iāve had the privilege of supporting people navigating a wide range of life challenges, including:
Survivors of cancer or eating disorders
Individuals managing autoimmune conditions, chronic illness, or pacemakers
Those experiencing chronic pain, trauma, or nervous system dysregulation
I understand that trauma, stress, and physical challenges often show up in the body long before we can put them into words. Thatās why my approach is about building awareness, teaching tools, and guiding sustainable habits that support your overall well-being ā mind, body, and nervous system.
I donāt just lead sessions or hand out routines ā I teach you why we do what we do, how it can support your resilience and confidence, and ways to integrate those principles into daily life. This way, youāre empowered to make choices that work for your body, your rhythm, and your lifestyle.
This Is a Community ā Not a Bootcamp
Building Core Consulting š± from the ground up gave me purpose. And now, itās about helping you build something sustainable too ā strength, confidence, trust in your body, and routines that actually fit your life.
I believe in mastery, yes ā but I also believe in humanity. I have structure. I have discipline. And I still have bad days, flares, and moments where I have to meet myself with grace.
If that feels refreshing⦠youāre in the right place.
I so look forward to getting to know you, supporting your journey, and welcoming you into the Core Community.
Hereās to healing, resilience, and new beginnings āfrom the inside out. āØ
Cheers,
Corey
