Maintaining your skin, hair, and overall beauty game doesn't have to be a pain in that booty you're working out today! I've got you covered with 10 incredible beauty hacks that will help you glow effortlessly. Let's get into it!

This was right after training clients, and getting ready for my own workout! The look holds well all day.

Achieve a natural pre-workout glow with a quick makeup routine. Opt for a tinted moisturizer with SPF, tinted eye cream (also use SPF), waterproof mascara, and lip liner with gloss to enhance your features within 12 minutes rather than spending hours in front of the mirror just to sweat it off. If you're feeling fancy, add some nude liner, hydrating concealer and blush. Those cheeks should be getting rosy anyway if you're actually following your workout! 😉 Sometimes I'm feelin' spicy and add a little liner. I stick with liquid when I do, because the pencils smudge with sweat. My rule is skin care, brows and lips always need to be done, lashes are a close third and the rest is optional. I try to choose products that are third party tested and cleaner brands.

I definitely have a fun time trying out different hairstyles! As you can tell, I do love my braids!

Maintain healthy hair despite your active lifestyle by rinsing your hair with cold or lukewarm water post-workout to seal the cuticles and prevent damage. Invest in dry shampoo for those days when a full wash isn't an option. It's best to wash your hair every other day or even two or three depending on what you've been up to or how much you sweat during your workout! And after washing, use a hair mask like my favorite the Coco and Eve 'Like a Virgin' hair mask. Use no damage hair scrunchies that are gentle and safe. Brush from the ends of the hair to the top. Style your hair in cute ways to switch up your look and feel pretty like pigtails, braids, a hat, space buns or a sleek back ponytail.


3. Skincare Hacks for a Healthy Complexion

This was a hot, sunny day. I opted for the same routine as my workouts so I wouldn't clog my pores. I did add some extra mascara and a darker lip color (I've actually been using my brow pencil as lip liner lately.)

Keep your skin glowing with simple skincare hacks like using a refreshing mist after your workout or out in the sun to rehydrate and rejuvenate your skin. Opt for lightweight, oil-free moisturizers to prevent clogged pores. Wash your face with an oil-free cleanser after sweating. Use fresh towels to wipe your face like these disposable wipes from Amazon instead of cloth that holds bacteria. It's better to wash your face and apply new make up and skin care after then leave the products on your face all day clogging your pores.


4. Swap Foundation for Tinted Moisturizer


For a lightweight feel that lets your skin breathe, swap out heavy foundation for a tinted moisturizer and tinted eye cream with SPF. It provides sheer coverage with protection and keeps your skin looking fresh and dewy. This has definitely been a game changer for maintaining clear, healthy skin.


5. Invest in Multipurpose Beauty Products


When you're on the go, multipurpose beauty products are your best friend. Look out for products that can be used for both lips and cheeks to save time and space in your gym bag. Sometimes I even use eyebrow pencil as lip liner like I mentioned above!


6. Hydrate Inside and Out


Drink plenty of water with lemon throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated from the inside. Additionally, use a hydrating facial mist post-workout to lock in moisture and keep your skin looking plump. I won't gate keep: adding 2 scoops of sugar free chocolate collagen powder with hyaluronic acid to my coffee in the morning has been life changing.


7. Opt for Waterproof Mascara


Sweat-proof your makeup routine by choosing a waterproof mascara. This will ensure that your lashes stay voluminous and defined, no matter how intense your workout gets. I don't want to recommend the waterproof one I use, if you're reading this and have a good recommendation, comment below! 🫶


8. Embrace the 'No-Makeup' Look

On days when you want to give your skin a break, embrace the 'no-makeup' look. Simply shape your eyebrows, swipe on some lip balm and add a touch of concealer or tinted eye cream for a fresh-faced appearance.


9. Protect Your Skin with SPF and Foam Tan


Don't skip on sunscreen, even on cloudy days. Protect your skin from harmful UV rays by applying a broad-spectrum SPF before heading out for your workout. Your skin will thank you in the long run.
